Event FAQ

  • Strawberry Hill offers two event space packages: the Main Floor Package and the Full Property Package.

    Main Floor Package – Host your single-day event on the main floor of Strawberry Hill.

    This includes access to all of the areas on the 1st floor of Strawberry Hill, including the entrance hall, the parlor, the dining room, the buffet room, and the Barksdale Suite, as well as the lawn and gardens. The Main Floor Package is for an event from 1pm – 10pm, and does not include access to the 2nd floor of Strawberry Hill or the basement.

    Full Property Package – Make your big day magical with the Full Property Package at Strawberry Hill, ideal for weddings, reunions, and other full- or multi-day events.

    This includes everything in the Main Floor Package, as well as access to the basement kitchen and living areas, the entire 2nd floor, and overnight stays in the five suites for up to 11 guests. The fenced in lawn has partial flood lighting, electrical outlets, and multiple open areas appropriate for tents. The Full Property Package is for an event from 1pm – 10pm

  • The maximum number of event attendees permitted in Strawberry Hill is 49 people. Should you wish to have a larger event, you can take advantage of the spacious lawn and gardens and back patio, but no more than 49 guests are permitted in Strawberry Hill at any given time. Larger events should plan to set up tents, as the inside space cannot be used as a rain contingency for events of more than 49 people.

    Events at Strawberry Hill are scheduled rain-or-shine, and our beautiful indoor spaces make a wonderful backdrop if the weather is not cooperating. However, in the event of an extreme weather event, we will work to reschedule your event.

    The event space booking is for the venue only, and does not include dishware, tents, tables, chairs, etc. Depending upon availability, some of these items may be rented from the venue.

  • We encourage you and your guests to drink responsibly.

    The venue cannot be held liable for alcohol-related misconduct. You are required to designate a bartender or individual of legal drinking age to manage the distribution of all alcohol. If you or your caterer purchases alcohol for your guests, you must acquire a banquet license.

  • The earlier you contact us about an event, the more likely it is that we will be able to meet your scheduling needs. We are unable to schedule events with less than one month advance notice.
